I took Colton and 2 of the neighbor kids to the KSU Women's Basketball game tonight. It was girl's night so girl's under the age of 14 dressed in a KSU shirt got in free and y'all know how I'm all about FREE things! I was supposed to have 4 kids but Shelby got sick so just DeLaney and Zac and Colton went to the game. And all I can say is Thank Goodness that there were only 3 kids bored after the first 5 minutes instead of 4. What was I thinking??
Well I did get to try out my new zoom lens. I was clear on the other side of the court and got to zoom in and see Frankie! I wish I would have taken shots of the airplane contest at half-time. The goal is to get your paper airplane on the 2 foot by 3 foot mat in the center of the court and you are entered for a chance to win a free flight from American Airlines. There were tons of planes zooming down and because he decided to sit in the front row many of them hit him. He took his hoodie and bundled it up over his head to fend off planes that were hitting his head.
This is the boys trying to do the Wabash Canonball. Zac loved trying to do it!
Now what we really enjoyed but once again my camera skills were derailed when I was trying to keep 3 kids entertained throughout the game was the dunks by this amazonian Baylor player. So you'll have to settle for watching a video. She dunks about the 1 minute mark of this one - INCREDIBLE!
